Fred Brownfield memorial race Part 2!

Hey everyone meet Benson on the right, this is Gonzo's new brother. They have soo much energy and got the beagles all worked up. Bailey really doesn't like her Butt sniffed and Lucy wasn't quite sure haw to handle the power of the Puggle!

Here are some photo's of the camp area at the track, Food, Food And more Food!
Below the gang took the carts and bike over to the small track to take in some quarter midget racing!

Mrs Bebee and Mrs Benjamen, looking chipper. What will they look like after the party that night? Hangover or sunshine?

The gang on the cold steal, man those seats SUCK! If you are going bring your pillows, blanket and seat cushions.

Brownfield Memorial race weekend.

We have not missed one of these races and I thinks that this was the best action filled Brownfield race to date.
This is Dad kicking back before the races in camp PATCHES!
We had Greg Biffle in the owners both right behind us. He bought one third of the Gray's Harbor Speedway and has brought a new series to the track, it's a new breed of modifies.
Greg saying HI!
The Biff sighing a autograph for some of us!
We had some great modified action and the Biff had four of his own cars driven by his nephews.
We took a ride over to watch the quarter midgets run on the small track, this was cool!
Lucy taking in some quarter midget action!
Here is the gang watching some action on the small track!
We had several bad flips and even had a hour pause in the action to wait for the EMS to come back to the track after taking the three drivers to the hospital. All in all the racing was fast and close. The new track surface was super to race on. The best part was having family and friends to tailgate with.

We are home!

We started out at the Zion National park. We spent the first afternoon trying to cool off, it was around 106 deg. The beagles had their tungs on the ground it was sooo hot!
Then off to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, it was breath taking to see this peaceful place.
Then it was off to Bryce Canyon another place that took your breathe away!
Then from there to Denver to see family and spend the July 4th. It rained 2" in 20 minutes that night along with thunder storms, gods light show! From there it was off to Montana. Just a few weeks ago they had a golf ball size hail storm that messed up the truck and 5th wheel. I took photo's of the truck but not the trailer. Below is the damage done to the Winnebago after going over the Columbia river at Vantage in a high wind storm. The cost of this is going to be over $8,000.00. Just this Monday Doug & Dawn in the same spot, received wind damage to their 5th wheel coming over the Columbia River bridge. Mother nature has not been kind to our family's and RVs.

I guess if we still have each other and no one was injured, that's all the counts, YOU Think!

Wagons East!

Here is what was right next to us in the campgrounds heading to the Montana. Eight deer eating behind my motor home.

This was breath taking view for a look out point along the road.
