Racing for Jesus Ministries.com

Here he is, Ken Maddux, shortly after winning his first heat race at Tenino South Sound Speedway last Saturday night. He had a good car, but like Tom said "he just out drove them!" It was great racing, wish you all could have been there! The other picture is Chad and his wife Nancy. Chad did not get to race his engine blew up in warm ups. Ken and Chad are both great drivers. They are struggling financially, they need some sponsors but until they get some we as family should try to help support them so they do not have to stop racing due to lack of funds. Chad blew his engine last night and it was his back up engine. These guys are running on faith their only sponsor is Racing for Jesus Ministries. So if you have a few bucks, even if it is only $10 or $20 you could give them to help keep them going I know it would be greatly appreciated. Maybe their second sponsor should be "Family". The guys did not ask me to send out this email but I feel impelled to do it. Hope they don't get mad at me. Please forward to other family members, I do not have many emails. If any of you know of a business or even a church that would sponsor them let's get them in touch with each other. If you want to help with a few bucks let me know I have asked them both for their mailing addresses when I get them I will email it to you. Even if you can not kick in I hope to see you all at the races July 25th at the Tenino South Sound Speedway. The Outlaw compacts mini stock invitational 1st place is a minimum $1,500. Hope to see you there to root them into first and second place for that race! It is going to be some great races! They will also be racing at Tenino South Sound Speedway on August 29th.
Lori
Hey family, take note of this from Lori. Please help these guys by contacting her or me. We can pass on their address and lets keep them rolling.

Happy Birthday!

Well it was another birthday. I think when you are past 21 the birthday's are just another day. I feel old and I acted like it to day. I helped Steve with the back lawn and just felt like CRAP! I did spend the day with the beagles and they seem to like having me pay attention to them, even though I'm a old man, LOL! There are some things that I wish I could change, but I think that my life has been blessed that I have such a great family and friends.
Love you all, MONTE!

What a Weekend!

We had dad over for fathers day and he pick what he wanted for dinner. He picked deep fried prawns, Fish, onion rings and Fry's. Then we sat down and watched the NASCAR race from California. This was a great race because my driver picked up the WIN, the man himself Kasey Kahne!
Happy Fathers Day Dad!

What's in Gods plan?

Everyday we face challenges in life. We face health issues, money problems, family issues and much more. Sometimes we don't know what is ahead, but I know that God has a plan for each and everyone of us. Some roads are bumpy, curvy and some just lead us back to where we started from. The only thing that I do know is "God has a plan."

Well Have you heard the latest on PETA. This group is a fantastic organization, but they need to pull their heads out of their BUTTS. They are upset with the Fisherman's market at the Seattle Pike Place Market for throwing fish. They say that they don't "RESPECT THE DEAD." Come on people, these guys are professionals. PETA get your BUTTS down there and see how many fish you catch or drop because your hand are soft. Fisherman are one of the hardest working people in the WORLD! PETA do you just need some news and this is the only way you can get it? The only thing these guys at the market are guilty of is playing with your food and that's something we have been doing since we were kids.
WOW, Monte.

Flash back Friday!

Hey Patches Pals here is a photo that I found of dad and Rusty. Dad would fall asleep on the couch and the Rusty would stand guard. This cat would drive you of the front door if he didn't like you. He was super cat with a red heads temper. We had allot of cats while living in the Auburn house, along with some great memories.

Until tomorrow, Monte.

Lake Sylvia and the Patches Pals fishing trip!

Here are some photo's of the fishing trip. The first photo is of a Great Northwest Tree fish, very rare!

Second is a photo of Randy and his trout
Third is of Mike and his trout that he caught in the boat at the end of the lake. We all had such a great time and stayed up late around the camp fire making smores. Smores, beer and a little wine what a combo! I will be posting more in later posts.

Lake Sylvia fishing trip!

Well this years Lake Sylvia fishing trip went great. It was full of first times. This was Randy & Karen's first time camping with us as new Patches Pal's. This was dads first time and his first time fishing in over 20 years. But most of all it was little Oliver's first time fishing and that's what it's all about. He caught two from shore and three from the boat. Look at his smile, priceless!

More to come, Monte

REST IN PEACE SPIDER PIG!

To all that follow Beagleland know that Lucy's brother was Spider Pig. Let me tell you a little about his story. His mother was run over by a car/truck in southwest Washington state and Spider was born right on the road after his mothers death. He came to live with my nephew(the tow truck man), his wife and kids. Just about that time Lucy was brought into their lives as a puppy. Both her and Spider had over two years together. Spider grew up to be a large hog and Lucy a nice little beagle. It was getting too dangerous to let them sleep and play together, so the family gave Lucy to me. Sadly I have to tell you that Spider pig got out while his family was on a trip and started chasing the neighbors cows and also the farmers wife. So maybe they both looked like big pigs to him. Spider was shot and killed "Doing Whatever Spider pig Wanted."

So Rest in Peace Spider Pig, Rest in Peace!
